The lucky ones were Anu, Dapo, Nuel Ayo, and Kpee who returned to team Yemi, Falz, Waje, and Darey respectively for a chance to perform courtesy of viewers’ votes as verified and endorsed by the highly respected KPMG.
Toeseen, Tamara, Inioluwa, and Jeremiah have now dropped out of the very intense competition.
The last eight contestants all performed during the second live show to the excitement of coaches and a small audience in compliance with Covid-19 protocols. Meanwhile, all eight talents gave great accounts of their artistry with scintillating performances of various songs at the second live show.
It was team Yemi that opened the second live show kicking off with a natural performer, Kitay with a cultural performance of “Ada Ada” by Flavour followed by the soprano singer Anu with an assertive delivery of “This is Me” by The Greatest Showman.
Team Falz then took over the stage first with Naomi Mac who wowed the audience with an emotional delivery of Whitney Houston’s classic “I Will Always Love You” followed by Dapo who sang Dbanj’s “Fall In Love”.

‘‘Forget Social Media, I Respect Her A Lot, We Talk’, Toyin Abraham Speaks On Alleged ‘Beef’ With Funke Akindele
Contrary to the belief of some people that there is a ‘silent beef’ borne out of a battle of supremacy between Nollywood heavyweights, Funke Akindele-Bello and Toyin Abraham, the latter has cleared the air, stating that Akindele-Bello is her senior colleague and she looks up to her.
In a radio interview, Abraham noted that Akindele-Bello is one of the few people in the Nigerian movie industry that she looks up to and respects a lot. She stated that whenever she sees her in public, she kneels down to greet her as a sign of respect.
Abraham said, “She is my senior colleague and she is someone I respect a lot; so, I do not know what people are talking about, trust me. She is one of the few people I look up to. Sometimes, people do not understand that we are colleagues and not family. So, you cannot be talking to all your colleagues. We talk, we follow each other.
“If I see her, I will kneel down and say, ‘Aunty Funke se wa okay,’ (meaning Aunty Funke are you okay?). A lot of people do not understand that we are working in the same space; we do not have to be close friends. When we see ourselves we greet each other. Forget social media, trust me.”
The filmmaker is clearing the air shortly after her friend and colleague, Iyabo Ojo, made claims that Akindele-Bello paid a movie review platform to rubbish Abraham’s recent movie, The Ghost and The Tout Too.
REVEALED: How Davido’s Personal Photographer Died Today In Lekki
Davido’s official photographer Fortunate Umunname Peter aka Fortune is dead.
He died three months after the hit maker’s close friend and associate, Habeeb Ademola Uthman aka Obama DMW passed on.
Davido had also lost his bodyguard of six years, Ogbeide Tijani Olamilekan (Teejay) in 2020.
In 2017, Davido lost two friends and team members, Tagbo and DJ Olu.
According to reports, Fortune was invited to a video shoot location at a private beach In Tarkwabay for a video shoot where he was supposed to take the footage from the shoot.
On their way to the shoot, the boat conveying him and the rest crew capsized.
According to a close source, “it was a location for a video shoot and they were already in high spirit before the boat they rented to convey them capsized due to the waves on the sea.”
Fortune should have survived like many people did on the boat but he was not wearing a live jacket that’s why he drowned when the boat capsized. Before the rescue team arrived at the scene, he has drowned drinking lots of water”. It was a scary scene as his death is on the list of those around Davido who has lost their lives in the past 4 years.
“It’s a shocking situation coming after the 30BG crew are yet to recover from Obama 44’s death few months ago. We pray and comfort with his family because he is the breadwinner of his family and he is a jolly good fellow.” the source further added.

Juju music legend, King Sunny Ade, has lost his wife of 43 years.

The beautiful Lagos politician died a day before her husband’s 75th birthday. The music maestro was born on September 22, 1946.
Hon. Adegeye’s love for Sunny Ade’s music dates back to the ’70s. She was first attracted to Sunny Ade’s music while in Form 3 in secondary school. That year, Sunny released a hit, ‘Oro To Nlo’, in response to the public’s rumour of his fight with then main ‘rival’, Ebenezer Obey.
When KSA clocked 70 years old in 2016, Alhaja Risikat organized a big bash to honour him and celebrate their love.
It was at that event she reportedly promised to throw even bigger ones for her husband both at 75 and at 80.
Unfortunately, this dream would not be coming to fruition.
The deceased who was also a former Chairmanship Aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday.

However, Mr George Folarin Olawande confirmed the death on behalf of the family in a statement on Tuesday.
The statement read in part: “We wish to formally inform, friends, well-wishers, political associates, and the general public that Hon Risikat Ajoke Adegeye passed on after a brief illness during the early hours of Tuesday, 21st September 2021.
