Former Presidential New Media aide Reno Omokri has mocked Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for crying during the burial of two priest and church goers who were killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
Osinbajo and Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi could not hold back their tears during the mass burial of two Catholic Priests, Rev Fathers Joseph Gor, Felix and 15 others in Benue on Tuesday.
They were among those killed by gunmen believed to be herdsmen in Gwer East LGA of the state last month. Osinbajo who tried to fight back emotion during his speech, consoled with people of the state over the unfortunate incident.
Reacting in a post on his Twitter handle, Omokri wrote: “Instead of shedding crocodile tears, @ProfOsinbajo should tell Nigerians why it was easy for Buhari to flood the entire Southeast region with Operation Python Dance soldiers yet same Buhari cant flood a single state like Benue with troops to stop killing by his herdsmen kinsmen?”
