In yet another twist to arguably the most popular scandal of 2017, a video has surfaced showing Stephanie Otobo saying she was being pressured by Apostle Johnson Suleiman to lie against the federal government.

According to Sahara Reporters, the video was recorded in June 2017 in the thick of the saga.

Otobo had last week attended the Omega Fire Ministry church of Suleiman, where she admitted to blackmailing him with her claims of sexual escapades, orgies, and spiritual manipulation against the cleric.

The Canada-based singer had said she was paid by some politicians and pastors to tell lies against Suleiman.

But in the new video released Tuesday, Otobo said in part: “I don’t know when you will be watching this but I’m just doing this message for the future purpose. Today’s date is 21st of June 2017.

“He has been calling my lawyers to get to me. He has been using other people to get to me. Even my own mother, the way she is acting… I don’t even understand.

“He is telling me to come and make a video to lie that it is the government of Nigeria that is putting me up to it.

“This is what Suleiman is asking me to do… to apologise to him, make a video saying I was lying, saying he was insane.

“I just want the whole world to know what this man is doing. I don’t know how far he’s going to go to try to get this from me, to try to make me le to the whole world. I’m not gonna be part of this evil because I’m not gonna lie.”
