Presidential spokesmen, Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu, are among the aides of President Muhammadu Buhari currently at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport, Abuja.
Mohammed Abubakar, governor of Bauchi state; Rochas Okorocha, governor of Imo; Lai Mohammed, minister of information and Babagana Mongunno, national security adviser, are also there, while journalists (pictured), are on the ground to capture the arrival of the president.
Supporters of the president, who were prevented from gaining access to the presidential wing, are singing and dancing outside the place.
Buhari left the country on May 7.
Earlier, Adesina had issued a statement to announce that the president was on his way back to the country.
