President Bola Tinubu will unveil the Progressive Institute, a think tank and resource centre established by the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Friday in Abuja.
According to ‘Wale Abideen, Head of Media and Strategic Communication: “The unveiling will be hosted by APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.”
Governor Hope Uzodimma, Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, will deliver the inaugural lecture on: “The Progressive Philosophy and its Programmatic Implications on Governance.”
Director-General Lanre Adebayo stated: “TPI is registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as a Company Limited by Guarantee and it has been duly certified by the Ministries of Justice and Education.”
He explained: “The TPI was established as a strategic decision of the APC Leadership to enhance its leadership recruitment process through quality training, strengthen intra-party democracy and governance as well as the APC’s policy role, especially through independent research.”
The statement added: “The Institute will develop a template for all-season voters’ education as part of the APC’s efforts to empower the Nigerian electorate.”
