The last may not have been heard about the Tiwa Savage and Estranged husband, Tunji Balogun aka TeeBlizz’s marriage brouhaha.

Ever since the messy details of their marriage breakup became public, the once upon-a-time happy lovers have had their fans divided as some believes that Singer Tiwa Savage revealed too much in her video interview while others insist that whatever she said was from a heart that was grieving. Two of the most sensitive of the allegations against TeeBillz with serious security implications are of sniffing cocaine and unpaid debt.

Her revelation partly reads; “He keeps on putting us in debt all the time. He goes out to the clubs with women, spend money on drinks, leaves without paying and the club owner would call me and I’ll end up going to pay.

The last one that happened that I think really triggered this whole thing was that he went to borrow N45 million from someone and he’s lost the money. I just found out. I was in the studio recording and got a call that EFCC is investigating that TJ is in big trouble, that people may hurt him. So in my frantic move to try and suppress the situation no one could help raise the N45m he went to borrow.

Or should we talk about the fact that I walked in on him taking cocaine in my house when we were still living in 1004 then? It was just after we got married and I didn’t even know he does cocaine, only to walk into the kitchen and saw him sniffing. I screamed TJ!!! And he quickly hid it and he started screaming at me!”

Reacting to rumors that the NDLEA might come after TeeBlizz, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Michel Ofoyeju in a chat with Saturday Telegraoh said:

“There’s no such plan, I think those bloggers are just trying to be mischievous. It’s simply a family issue, they shouldn’t drag NDLEA into it.” The N45m debt allegation in the no-holdsbarred interview is also one the social media had feasted on with several fictitious interpretations but the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren said:

“The only way the commission can establish such a case is if the lady can give us the name of the complainant. Ask Tiwa what exactly the issue is.” Insiders also insist that Balogun got N2.5m from Remy Martin Nigeria to book for Savage’s performance at an event that was billed to hold sometime in the week, but the man never remitted the money to the singer. But after the interview made the rounds, the management of the cognac company reached out to the singer that it was aware she’s hurting and therefore decided to exempt her from the show.

Details of how Balogun secured the deal despite being fired as the singer’s manager remain unknown. Meanwhile, words have also spread that Savage had shrugged off the mess and moved to a movie location to feature in Funke Akindele’s TV drama entitled ‘The Return of Jenifa’.

Her part in the series had been shot before the fiasco. Our checks revealed that the information is untrue as the singer was already onset earlier on the same day her estranged husband posted the damning Instagram story. Fans and industry buffs wouldn’t need to worry about TeeBillz’s whereabouts anymore; we learnt reliably that after leaving Banky W’s place, he was quietly moved to a friend’s place in 1004 where a psychotherapist and other close friends would be helping him fight depression.

There may also be plans by his friends to relocate him to the US immediately the storm is over. Indications are rife that TeeBillz had been barred from using phones for some time to enable him to get out of the gloom early enough.

We also found out that TeeBillz’s ailing mother who was nearly shattered by the squabbles moved to Savage’s Lekki residence to plead with the singer. Our source revealed that Savage’s mother-in-law was there for three days before she left last Wednesday, May 4.
