As the countdown for the Ogun State Apc primaries Guber race begins, youths in the party have been constantly meeting, to thwart what looks like the incumbent Governor, Amosun’s plan to muzzle out oil baron, Prince Dapo Abiodun from the race.
The Governor has issued strong orders to the leaders of the party in the state to reject free will gifts from DAPO ABIODUN; which worried the party youths, as they express concerns at the Governor’s attitude to the leading aspirant that has shown promise to deliver quality leadership.
Speaking to Naijahottest.com, three youth leaders of the party who wants to remain anonymous has declared their readiness to stand behind Dapo because he has the aura of a good Governor.
“Everything looks right around him, He has the age, he has experience and he has made a success of his business and we won’t allow anyone push him out of the race the way he intimidated senator Yayi twice out of his ambition.
When we got the instructions we ignored them and went ahead and collected the gifts, Good enough we are having a direct primary now, the governor should bring his own candidate and we will weigh him and see if he is better than prince ABIODUN” one of the youth leaders opined.
“As of now among all the candidates that have been mentioned prince Abiodun is way ahead of them and we stick to him.” another said.
It will be recalled that Dapo ABIODUN Declared his interest in the governorship race a few days back, and since then many top politicians in the state and stakeholders have been going to lend their support to him.
During his declaration, DAPO has stated that he was making a huge sacrifice leaving his business to come and take Ogun state to the next level.
