The Nation reports that Obasanjo, who spoke while hosting a delegation of the Ondo state chapter of the Accord Party, noted that the ruling All Progressives (APC) and and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are not vibrant enough for their current roles.
The delegation was led by its the chairman of Board of Trustees (BoT) of the party, Reverend Adebayo Adeniyi.
They were received by Obasanjo at his presidential hilltop residence in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The former president reportedly said the candidate of the Accord Party in the forthcoming Ondo governorship election, Ola Amuda, has a bright political future.
He urged Amuda, a technocrat and former special assistant to late Olusegun Agagu, a former governor of the state, to strive hard and make positive impact during the election.
