Ben Murray-Bruce (PDP-Bayelsa East) has accused the Nigeria Police Force of playing the “politics of the ruling party.”
The media mogul was responding to a statement by the spokesperson of the police, Jimoh Moshood, where he described Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state as a “drowning man.”
In a post on his Twitter handle, Murray-Bruce wrote: “I am still in shock at the Police PRO’s comments insulting the grieving Governor of Benue State.
“The Nigerian Police Force are meant to uphold the law, not the politics of the ruling party.
“They‘re called the Nigeria Police Force, not the APC Police Force or the PDP Police Force.”
