Auwal Dankode, an employee of the Nigeria Aviation Handling Company at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, has received widespread acclaim for his exceptional honesty.
While cleaning an aircraft, Dankode discovered $10,000 (approximately N16m) and promptly reported the incident to the airline company’s manager.
His swift action initiated a search for the rightful owner, earning him praise and admiration.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makaman, Dankode’s integrity and strong fear of God guided his decision.
A native of Kode in Kano State, Dankode’s exemplary conduct has set a high standard for honesty and accountability in the workplace.
Zagazola added that as investigations continue to identify the owner of the lost money, “Auwal’s actions serve as a shining example of the positive impact that even small acts of kindness can have.”
