Lagos State government has said it would ensure fairness, justice, transparency, and equity in resolving the Magodo Phase II land dispute.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu addressed reporters on Wednesday after a meeting with stakeholders and residents of the estate.
He said the committee set up by the government would begin work soon to identify the available plots of lands in Shangisha.
He said allocations would be made in a mutually agreeable location.
According to him, the de-escalation of police movement around Magodo will be done and the peace which the area is known for is assured.
Chairman of Shangisha Land Owners, Adebayo Adeyiga, said they agreed with the government over his promise to settle the dispute amicably.
