Lagos Killer Husband: Late Wife’s Alleged Lover Absconds, Absent From Work.
The alleged lover of late Ronke Shonde, who was allegedly killed by her husband at their Egbeda home in Lagos, last week, has reportedly failed to show up at work since Monday.
According to Vanguard, the alleged lover who is the Managing Director of a publishing firm in Ikeja, has been absent from work ever since the story broke out according to workers who refused to divulge any further information on the allegation.
The husband of the deceased, Lekan Shonde had accused his late wife of keeping extra marital affairs with the alleged lover.
He said his wife provoked him to assaulting her after she described how slept with lover in an Abuja hotel.
He had earlier stated that he over-heard a telephone conversation between his late wife and her boss, (names withheld) where she allegedly recalled their love escapades, adding that his late wife never contradicted the claim.
