Supporters of the Labour Party (LP), and its Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi on Saturday, held rallies in parts of the country.
Abia, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Anambra, Enugu, Jos and Niger are among the states where the rallies took place.
According to the supporters, the rally was to sensitise the public on the 2023 general election and to seek more support for the Labour Party in the presidential election.
Earlier in the day, the Ebonyi police reportedly teargassed and arrested some of the party’s supporters, who had gathered for a rally in Abakaliki.
