The executive Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, and his predecessor Nyesom Wike, are currently attending the meeting of the police council.
The police council meeting is usually attended by 36 state governors and the minister of the federal capital territory (FCT).
Wike and Fubara shook hands before the commencement of the meeting at the presidential villa.
Over the past few days, the political crisis in Rivers state has ignited the speculation that all is not well between the duo.
