Lagos State Government has sealed the popular Mile 12 International and Owode Onirin markets along Ikorodu road as part of measures to maintain appropriate hygiene across Lagos markets after they were deemed to have persistently violated environmental rules.
It was gathered that the markets were closed by the Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) and the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) when traders refused to obey regulatory requirements.
