A popular Ibadan-based standup comedian Owomoyela Nifemi, a.k.a Peteru, is dead.

Late Peteru is one of the many youthful entertainers trying his best to put Ibadan on the global entertainment map.

Reports indicate that he has been battling lung cancer for a while.
