Justice Chuka Jideofor Okoli, former Chief Judge of Anambra state, has died, a family member has said.
Porcheclassy understands Okoli died in the early hours of Sunday.
“He remains an icon in the annals of the judiciary in Nigeria. He was incorruptible during his time as the Chief Judge of Anambra State,” a family relative said.
Okoli was suspended by the National Judicial Council (NJC) in 2007 over allegation he influenced the removal of Governor Peter Obi from office.
