Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, an Islamic cleric residing in Kaduna State, has been invited by the Federal Government to be questioned on his remarks regarding the actions of bandits throughout the nation.
This was disclosed to the media in Abuja on Monday by Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and Orientation.
Idris, who spoke with State House Correspondents in the Federal Capital Territory, said Gumi was not above the law.
He said the Federal Government has deemed it necessary to invite him for questioning.
