Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has hinted that he might take up the Vice Presidential post for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 presidential election.
Fayose stated this on Monday in Ado-Ekiti during his regular media chat,
He stated that he would gladly accept the offer of Vice President if the party decides to nominate him.
He said he is qualified to be VP if it is the will of God, noting that God is taking him to a higher place, which he doesn’t know yet.
He, however, said, he would not support the National Chairman of the party, Ali Modu Sheriff for the presidency in 2019..
Reminded that his tenure as Ekiti governor expires in October 2018 and that President Buhari would still be in office, Fayose said he was not afraid of anybody.
