Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to reports that cows invaded the runway of the Akure airport.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has apologised to Air Peace Airlines and its passengers after the incident.
Th incident, which occurred Saturday morning, prevented an Air Peace flight from Lagos from landing. Reacting in a post on his Twitter, Fani-Kayode: “Air Peace Plane escapes accident as cows take over Akure Airport runway!
“COWS AGAIN? We are in a mess? Who has bewitched our nation? Which strange “cow magic” has Buhari hexed us with?“What is it about the spilling of blood and the veneration of cows that he loves so much?”
