EFCC To Arraign FUNAAB Pro-Chancellor Adeseye Ogunlewe, VC And Bursar For Fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will on Friday 25th Nov. 2016 arraign Pro-Chancellor Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Vice-Chancellor and the Bursar of Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, FUNAAB.
EFCC in a statement on Wednesday noted that the arraignment of Senator Ogunlewe, Prof Olusola Oyewole, Mr Moses Olusola Ilesanmi is in respect of an alleged case of Abuse of Office and misappropriation of funds reported against the University management and some members of the Governing Council.
According to a petition submitted to the EFCC by the Concerned Stakeholders of the Federal University of Agriculture, it was alleged that the Pro-Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor and the Bursar engaged in an “unbridled corruption and betrayal of public trust”.
