Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court on Friday, May 12, has confirmed Lamidi Apapa as the National Chairman of the Labour Party.
Following the decision, Apapa declared himself to be in charge and gave the party’s attorneys in the presidential election tribunal 48 hours to arrange a meeting with him.
Apapa has taken over management of the Labour Party’s operations as the Deputy National Chairman after being acknowledged as the acting chairman.
Additionally, Apapa has ordered that in order to discuss ongoing issues pertaining to the presidential election tribunal, the party’s attorneys must personally appear before him within the specified time frame. The Labour Party and its future operations are anticipated to be significantly impacted by this recent development.
