The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has clarified that it is not conducting any recruitment exercise, despite rumors circulating on social media.
There have been reports claiming a new recruitment opening by the commission, but a statement released on Thursday by Taiwo Hassan, the FCSC public relations officer (PRO), confirmed that this information did not come from the commission.
Hassan called the claims “fictitious” and emphasized that no new recruitment is underway at the commission.
He also urged the public to be cautious of scammers, explaining that any official recruitment would be announced through the commission’s website or national newspapers.
“The attention of the FCSC has been drawn to information making the rounds on various media platforms about advertised vacancies and recruitments in the commission,” the statement reads.
“The commission unequivocally declares that the information containing the commission’s website, and the name of the director (recruitment and appointment) did not emanate from the commission.
“It is fictitious and should be disregarded.”
