Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has vowed never to reconcile with Senator Rabiu Kwankwanso. Ganduje ruled out any possibility of reconciling with his predecessor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso. “We have had enough of such a vendetta, which had been raging with no end in sight. We have parted ways with Kwankwasiyya forever,” the governor said at a function in Kano on Wednesday.
“They have erroneously believed and have been telling people that we are on the road to losing our seat in the 2019 general election. I find such a permutation laughable and a mere ranting of a wounded lion.” Ganduje called on members of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the state to shun the activities of the former governor.
Ganduje and Kwankwaso had fallen out on account of disagreements over cabinet appointments. The Kwankwaso camp had accused Ganduje of shutting out their men.
