Buhari, South West APC Leaders Meet Over Ekiti, Osun Elections

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday evening met with vice president Yemi Osinbajo, national leader of the APC Bola Tinubu and other South West caucus members.

It was gathered that the meeting, which was also attended by former chairman of the party Bisi Akande, started at about 8.30p.m at the new Banquet Hall in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

They were said to have discussed, among other issues, the forthcoming governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun states.

Among others at the dinner included the National Chairman of the party, John Odigie-Oyegun, former governor Segun Oni, Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Kayode Fayemi, who is the candidate of the APC for the July governorship election in Ekiti.

Governors at the meeting included Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo) and the Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Al-Makura, who was the chairman of APC Ekiti Guber primaries committee.
