The chairman of the opposition New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Gombe State Abdullahi Maikano Umar has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was gathered that Umar announced his defection after meeting Governor Inuwa at his residence on Friday, dumping Rabiu Kwankwaso, presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
