BREAKING: Nigeria’s Inflation Rate Increases To 27.3 Percent Amid Hike In Food Prices

The consumer price index (CPI), which measures the rate of change in goods and services prices, increased to 27.33 percent in October 2023, up from 26.72 percent the previous month.

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) revealed this in its September CPI report, which was released on Tuesday.

This is the eleventh consecutive increase in the country’s inflation rate this year.
