Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has administered an oath on each of the two new ministers recently cleared by the National Assembly.
The two ministers, Stephen Ocheni from Kogi and Suleiman Hassan from Gombe state, joined their colleagues at Aso Rock for one of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meetings.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Acting President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, announced the development on his Twitter handle.
Ocheni was named Minister of State, Labour and Employment; while Hassan was named Minister of State, Power, Works and Housing.
“There are now two ministers of state in Power, Works and Housing ministries,” Akande said.
While Ocheni replaces James Ocholi, former minister of state for labour and productivity, Hassan now takes the political place of Amina Mohammed, the former environment minister, who is now a top official of the United Nations.
Ocheni resumed as the minister of state for labour which was occupied by while Suleiman Hassan is the new minister of state for power, works and housing.
Osinbajo also inaugurated 15 permanent secretaries to fill the vacancies created in various government agencies.
