Bamidele Ariyo’s Community Magazine Set To Honour Community Heroes

Landmark Jubilee magazine, a community magazine in Ota, Ogun State, is set to honour great individuals who are making significant contributions in the community at its first Post Independent Lecture/Lunch and Hall of Fame Award.

The theme for the lecture is entitled “strengthening the grassroots towards crime free community.”

Those selected for this award recognition include Professor Aize Obayan, former VC Landmark University, Lt. John Ukenwa of 192 Battalion Owode, media big boy, Adeoti Adeola and Mr. Muhammad Babagana, the secretary Arewa Consultative Forum, Ogun State chapter amongst others.

Speaking about the awardees, Ariyo said: “We are honouring everyday people who serve passionately but quietly; people whose actions often go unnoticed except by those who are directly affected by their gifts of time, talent and treasure.”

The event is slated to take place on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Sweettime restaurant, inside JP filling station, opposite Canaan land, Ota, Ogun State.

Ariyo is widely known to be the brain behind the famous Great Women Award, an event that has honoured the likes of Senator Remi Tinubu, the wife of former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu, ace movie actress Joke Silva, Chief Mrs. Lola Akande and many others.

Ariyo who is also the founder of Ariyo Holistic Approach Foundation has equally worked closely with some of the top events in the country including THEMA by the defunct Fame Weekly Magazine, National Comedy Awards, City People Awards and Nigerian Entertainment Awards among others.
