Popular actress, Susan Peters, was called out on social media sometime ago by a make up artist who claimed that she worked for the actress without getting paid. The make up artist had written, “When clients tell you that you are rude for asking for your money after doing their make -up!
This is going to be a major call out. How will you tell me you will send my pay at your own convenient time after flying cabs and doing your make up?”Shortly after the post, Peters stated that she had paid the artist. She said, “Nigerians always like one sided stories; looking for cheap publicity.
I have gone out (of) the building; we are made of steel. I will soon post all the alerts to all the accounts paid.”In an interview with Punch, Susan stated, “I have settled the issue and I have moved on. She did a job for me on a Sunday and I paid her shortly after. The callout was uncalled for. Right now, I am working in the United States.”
On how she feels being labelled a debtor, she said, “I don’t care. People can continue saying whatever they like. I know who I am and I will keep on moving forward.”
