History is about to be made on the rocky city of Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital, as the Best Of Nollywood, BON Awards, Nigeria’s flagship prize giving ceremony for practitioners in her local film industry, shall be hosting the biggest entertainment event ever witnessed on the soil of the gate way state, Saturday, December 16, at the Cultural Centre, Kuto, amid pomp and pageantry.
The evening shall be piloted by the duo of Nollywood darlings, Rahama Sadau and Gbenro Ajibade. This edition of the award shall take a different hue, as the handlers of the event are working to give guests a ball, and as the host governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, promised during his unveiling as the 2017 host to make this year the best of the award ceremony since inception.
This ninth edition of the award shall see popular afro pop songster, Jaywon, thrill to great tunes, hundreds of guests that shall comprise of Nollywood practitioners, top government functionaries, cooperate and eminent Nigerians.
According to a recent statement by Seun Oloketuyi, BON Awards front liner, Veteran film director, Lacelot Imasuen, Veteran actor, Omotola Jolade-Ekehinde and Kannywood cross over actor, Ali Nuhu, have all been underscored for BON Special Recognition Awards.
