Samson Dauda, a Nigerian-born bodybuilder representing the United Kingdom, has been crowned the 2024 Mr. Olympia.
Mr. Olympia is an annual international bodybuilding competition sanctioned by the IFBB Professional League.
Dauda made history by winning the 60th Mr. Olympia contest at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada, United States.
He defeated top competitors, with Hadi Choopan taking second place and 2023 champion Derek Lunsford securing third.
Dauda became the first Nigerian descendant to win the title and was named People’s Champion.
Born on March 11, 1992, in Lagos, Nigeria, Dauda initially pursued rugby in the UK before starting bodybuilding in 2014.
