The Council Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, Lagos, Hon. Razaq Olusola Ajala, on the 14th of December 2018 celebrated the 100 days of his administration in office at an event tagged ‘My Community, My Pride’.
At the event which was held at the council premises, Ajala said the vision of his administration is simply “Common Pole for Common Benefits”.
Ajala went on to say that he is delighted to have been chosen by the people for the office and every promise he has made, he is already fulfilling and will yet fulfill.
Continuing, he highlighted his notable deeds within 365 days in office in six major categories
Works & Infrastructure: Four rooms for the use of staff, Drainage Project in different streets, Reconstruction of Roads in different streets. Rehabilitation of Different Roads like Abiodun Street, Kumuyi Street, Fafolu Street, and several others…
Humanitarian: Construction of Boreholes and 135 Generators distributed alongside, Complete Renovation of the Council Entrance and so on..
Security: Procurement of Three Buses for the Police Force.
Medical Mission: Health Screening, Consultation & Treatments, Antenatal, Postnatal Care and lots more…
Agric & Social Services: Celebration & Sales of Ileya Ram at Subsidized Rates, Boxing Tournament etc…
Educational Sector: Transportation of 1500 students to their common entrance venue, Renovation of Classrooms in all the 27 public primary schools in the LCDA.
Ajala further mentioned the plan to assist the Traders within that community with Five Million Naira which will be in line with the Trader Money conducted by the Federal Government, but theirs will be called “Trade Assistant Program”.
Hon. Rasaq Ajala seized the occasion to Appeal to the people of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA to take ownership by performing their social contract through payment of taxes, levies and all other social responsibilities within the Local Government.
