Fiery Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmed Gumi has called for the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari whom he said had performed worse than predecessor Goodluck Jonathan.

According to Gumi, Buhari was a victim of ignorant, unemployed and senseless followership that stiffle other politicians.

“Definitely, the situation now is worse. The economy is worse. Feeding is a problem; medical care is a problem. There are problems everywhere. Nigeria is down. Nobody is secure. The honest people in government have pulled out,” he lamented.

“Look at what a governor said recently; that he was resigning his position as the Chief Security Officer because he is helpless. Another governor said we have to face the fact that there is a problem in Nigeria. We can’t deny that.

“Buhari is just a common man. He is just an ordinary one man in Nigeria. We cannot be hypocrites, hiding facts because of a man.

“Why are people shivering because of him because he has a team of illiterate, fanatical followers? We can deal with them. They should not hold us to ransom. He is a victim of this ignorant, unemployed and senseless followership.

“When politicians see that, they become frightened. We won’t succumb to that. Let’s do what is right. Put the right Nigerians to lead us, if not, we will destroy ourselves. We cannot be victims to these rascals.

“When you try to correct the president, they come out in their millions trying to abuse you. They don’t even counteract your points with knowledge. If you think abusing us will deter us, you are making a mistake.

“There is problem with and in the government. We have absolute failure in government. People are dying, things are not good. We cannot continue this way.

As Tokunbo Wahab turns 54, it is only fitting to celebrate not just the years, but the man he has consistently shown himself to be—one defined by kindness, humility, and a genuine love for people.

Yes, he is the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, and by every standard, he has done extremely well. His work, impact, and dedication in that office are evident for all to see. But that is not even the thrust of this write-up.

This is about the person.

A proud son of Epe in Lagos, he carries his roots with dignity and grace, reflecting the values of his heritage in the way he lives and relates with people. TKW… Omoluabi Eko—a true embodiment of character, respect, and integrity.

He is a man who shows up. Always willing to assist, to help, to give—without hesitation and without noise. His generosity is quiet, yet deeply impactful. His kindness is not occasional; it is who he is.

Those who know him closely will tell you he is incredibly accommodating. Easy to approach, easy to speak with, and always ready to make others feel comfortable, heard, and valued. There is a simplicity about him that is rare—no airs, no distance—just a calm, grounded presence.

He gives without announcing it. He supports without seeking recognition. He blesses lives in ways that may never be seen publicly, yet remain unforgettable to those who experience his goodwill.

In a world where many complicate things, he remains refreshingly simple. In a space where recognition is often chased, he chooses quiet impact. And when others might turn away, he steps forward.

As he marks this new chapter, I celebrate not just his life, but I also pray that God grants him many more meaningful years—years of continued service, impact, and grace to keep uplifting his people, his state, and nation.

Happy 54th Birthday, TKW Omoluabi Eko, and I wish you God’s guidance, abundant blessings, good health, and protection always. Live long and prosper
