Son In Police Net For Murdering School Proprietress, Burning Body In Delta

In a shocking and disturbing incident, Mrs. Fatima Umukoro, proprietress of His Majesty Group of Schools in Sapele, Delta State, was allegedly murdered by her son, Emmanuel Umukoro.

The tragic event occurred late at night, leaving neighbors in a state of shock and bewilderment. Eyewitnesses described the scene as gruesome and horrific.

Neighbors noticed the Umukoro residence’s gate was open around 10 pm, which was unusual. Upon investigating, they found fire coming from inside the house with the door open and discovered Mrs. Umukoro’s lifeless body, burnt beyond recognition.

A neighbor revealed that Emmanuel Umukoro was seen driving out of the compound at 8:30 pm at high speed in his mother’s car. This led to his arrest by the Nigeria Police Force along Sapele-Warri Road as he attempted to escape.

The motive behind the alleged murder remains unknown, and the police have yet to make an official statement. The Delta State Police PRO was unreachable for comment.

The community is reeling from the shock, and the Umukoro family is left to cope with the tragedy. As the investigation unfolds, hopes are that justice will be served.
