Police Nabs Notorious Lagos Traffic Robber Who Steals From Only Ladies [PHOTO]
The Lagos state police command has announced the arrest of a notorious armed robber who specialises in robbing only women of their valuables.
The arrest was announced by assistant commissioner of police, Complaint Response Unit (CRU), Abayomi Shogunle on Monday, August 22. The robber, whose real name is Sunday Onjefu is a 27-year-old man of Igbo extraction.
According to information revealed by Shogunle on his official Twitter handle, Onjefu’s specialty is robbing ladies in Lagos traffic. He was nabbed after several complaints to the CRU about his nefarious activities on Lagos roads.
Onjefu was arrested in the act on Friday, August 19 on the Lekki-Epe Expressway with two toy pistols and a knife.
Meanwhile, some gunmen on Saturday, August 20, unleashed terror on a bridal train, killing the video camera man and badly wounded others, including a photographer in Mgbuishii, Ohaji/Egbema area of Imo state.
Reports say that the newly-wed couple (names withheld) did a solemnization of their wedding in a Chimezie Catholic parish, Mgbuishi in the state just before they were attacked.
