The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced that two Federal High Court judges have surrended to the anti-corruption body on Thursday October 20, 2016.

According to NAIJ, EFCC said the judges who surrendered at its Lagos zonal office on Awolowo Road in Ikoyi were Justice Agbadu James Fishim and Justice Uwani Abba Aji.

It also reported that three more judges; Justices Mohammed Nasir Yunusa, Hyeladzira Ajiya Nganjiwa and Musa Haruna Kurya had earlier surrendered to the anti-corruption body for interrogation on Monday, October 17 and yesterday, Wednesday, October 18 respectively.

The EFCC reported that some of the judges were accompanied by their lawyers and “have so far been cooperating with operatives as they make their voluntary statements under very cordial atmosphere”.

The Commission however noted that another judge, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, who was one of the invited judges and was expected to show up at the anti-corruption body’s office yesterday, is yet to honour the invitation.
