The conflict between Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and the 27 lawmakers may persist as the lawmakers prevented the governor from entering the assembly premises to present the “2025 appropriation bill” as required by law.
A dramatic scene unfolded at the Rivers House of Assembly Complex when Fubara arrived at the quarters, only to find the entrance gate locked, with security personnel refusing him access to the premises despite multiple attempts.
