JUST IN: Major Gas Pipeline Leakage At Computer Village, NEMA Asks Residents To Avoid Open Fire

A massive leakage of gas pipeline has been reported around Computer Village /Underbridge Awolowo Way and Oba Akran axis of Lagos state.

According to the southwest coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Mr Ibrahim Fariloye, other areas affected include Onifowose Street, Medical Road all within the state capital.

He strongly advised occupants of computer village “not open shops or use open naked fire”.

“Residents around Computer Village /Underbridge Awolowo Way and Oba Akran axis, Onifowose Street, Medical Road must not open shops or use open naked fire for safety reasons.

“Distressed alert just received indicates massive leakage of gas pipeline around these areas,” he told Newsmen.
