Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has reshuffled top police officials as part of ongoing efforts to enhance national security.
Commissioner Tunji Disu has been transferred from Rivers Command to Abuja’s Federal Capital Territory.
To fill the vacancy, Delta’s Commissioner Olufemi Abaniwonda will move to Rivers, while Peter Opara will replace Disu in Abuja.
As gathered, the signal for the redeployment has been approved by the IGP on Tuesday and the senior police officers were already gathering their property to resume in their new duty posts.
