Hon Ikuforiji Mourns Bayo Osinowo, Says APC Just Lost A Loyal Party Man

Former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji has condoled with the family of the late Senator representing Lagos East, Bayo Osinowo, urging them to take solace in the good life he lived in the service of God, good and humanity.

In a signed statement, he expressed his shock at the death of Osinowo, while also commiseration with the deceased’s political family, the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing him as a staunch and unwavering member of the party.

Speaking about the late Senator, Ikuforiji shared that he was a distinguished public official, philanthropist, a firm believer in democratic ideals and ethos, a foremost Lagosian and loyal party man to the APC.

He explained that these attributes, which Sen. Osinowo, in his lifetime, put into practice enabled him to serve in diverse capacities meritoriously, first as a state lawmaker and until his death, a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Nigeria, Lagos, and APC have been robbed of the services of a democrat and one who is committed to the good and well-being of the people. Senator Bayo Osinowo was passionate about the development of Lagos. APC has just lost a loyal party man who gave his best in the service of Lagosians till the end,” he added.

He prayed that God grant the family and everyone connected with the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss and grant his soul eternal rest.
