Former staff of Nigeria’s electoral umpire Christian Nwosu has been re-arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Nwosu is standing trial over alleged N30 million bribe to rig the 2015 general record.
He is accused of accepting money from former Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, to rig the 2015 elections.
EFCC charged Nwosu and one Tijani Bashir with receiving N30 million bribe from Diezani to commit electoral fraud.
They were arraigned along with Yisa Adedoyin, who pleaded guilty to receiving cash payment of N70 million from Diezani, who is also named in the charge as being “at large”.
