Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, revealed that security agencies have uncovered the identity of a senator involved in sponsoring protests in Abuja.
This discovery comes as a youth-led nationwide protest against economic hardship and rising living costs began on Thursday.
Following a security council meeting in Abuja, Wike disclosed that the unnamed senator was found to have provided sustenance for the protesters, hinting at a deeper level of involvement in the organization of the demonstrations.
