Nigeria’s President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is scheduled to return to Nigeria on Friday to swear in Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the new Chief Justice of Nigeria.
The President had traveled to France on Monday for a “brief work stay”, according to his team.
The swearing-in ceremony comes after the retirement of Olukayode Ariwoola as CJN on Thursday, following his attainment of the mandatory retirement age of 70.
