Andrew Nice, the prime suspect in the gruesome murder of 22-year-old Bus Rapid Transit passenger, Oluwabamise Ayanwole, has pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against him when his case came up at the Yaba Magistrate Court today.

Recall that Oluwabamise was declared missing while returning to Ota from Ajah on February 26 when she boarded a BRT bus with number 240257 going to Oshodi at about 7 pm at Chevron Bus-Stop.

The fashion designer’s lifeless body was later discovered by the roadside.

On Monday, the Department of State Services arrested Andrew Nice, the driver of the BRT that the victim boarded.

Viral videos showed that the driver when apprehended by the secret police confessed to having ‘been indecent’ with the deceased.

While he has been charged with rape and murder, the suspect is to be remanded in custody for 30days.
