News reaching PorscheClassy Media has it that popular Nollywood actress Aisha Abimbola aka Omoge Campus is dead.

The elegant and scandal-free actress reportedly passed away last night in Canada.

Report says Aisha has been battling breast cancer infection for some years now, a major reason why she’s gone silent in the movie scene.

The 46-year-old thespian came into limelight after she featured in the movie ‘Omoge Campus’ where she played the beautiful Isale Eko, Lagos-born graduate.

Regarded as one of the finest role interpreters in the Yoruba genre of the Nollywood, Aisha was scandal free all through her acting career.

May her soul RIP!

BON Awards 2019: Red Carpet Host Unveiled

Before the Nigerian Nollywood industry graces 2019 Best of Nollywood awards red carpet this Saturday, December 14, 2019, the sweet and distinct voice of Arewa Radio, Binta Abdullahi Fulani, has been unveiled as this year’s host to welcome the stars.

Aside from being an On-Air Personality at the popular radio station in Kano State, Binta is also a fashion and entertainment enthusiast.

According to the awards media coordinator, Victor Ojelabi, Binta was chosen for her great communication skills.

“It was easy for the board’s choice of Binta on the red carpet because she is an outstanding communicator with special ability to capture the attention of her audience.

“Besides, she is also very witty which gives assurance of fun exchanges at the prestigious awards,” he said.

The delectable BON 2019 red carpet host is a B.Sc holder from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State, where she graduated with a second class upper.

Born on March 19, 1994, Binta enjoys hosting shows and events among other things.

Kano Govt Officially Accepts BON Awards Hosting Right, As Peugeot, Max Air and LaCasera Declares Support [PHOTOS]

The executive governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, OFR, has on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, officially unveiled the right to host 2019 Best of Nollywood Awards.

The event, which took place at the government house, witnessed the presence of notable members of the Kano State government.

The governor, during the presentation of the certificate to him by the Chief Executive of Officer of BON, Seun Oloketuyi, said, “We’re are excited that Best of Nollywood is taking here and this is history in the making for the good people of Kano State.”

Ganduje also used the opportunity to welcome the industry players to Kano State while promising them a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The city of Kano State will be agog on December 14, 2019, as crème de la crème of the make-believe industry will storm the state for the 2019 edition of Best of Nollywood Awards.

In a related development, the makers of the luxury car brand, Peugeot, among others, has also thrown its weight behind the awards.

The French automotive manufacturer will be joining the likes of Max Air, LaCasera and others.
