Former militant leader, Asari Dokubo , has asked APC National leader Bola Tinubu , to be weary of President Buhari as his fate after the 2019 election will be worse than that of Dino Melaye.
Asari made this claim in a new video he posted on social media. According to him, the former Lagos State governor will suffer “worst” fate from the Buhari-led government despite his support.
Asari aslo alleged that Dino Melaye was marked to be killed that was why he was pushed from the police van while he was being transported to Kogi state on April 25th.
“Some people are happy because of what happened to Dino Melaye. Yes he does. If Dino Melaye who was one of the voiciferous and Loquacious personalities in Buhari’s campaign can be treated this way to the extent that Buhari wants to kill him by throwing him out of a moving vehicle, then it can happen to anyone of us.
And that is why you must stand up. You don’t know whether you will be the next one. How is it possible for Dino Melaye to have jumped off the bus. Was there a thrasngiguration or a Dino Melaye rapture? You know Dino Melaye now used to sing some religious songs. Maybe he was in the spirit and he was raptured and all of a sudden he found himself on the ground.
Buhari thinks because he is the captain of Dundee united, all of us are fans and players of this dundee united. Me, I am not a dundee United fan.
Dino Melaye was marked to be killed. They failed. Dino Melaye, any weapon fashioned against you shall fail, it should go back to the Buhari them.
Tinubu, as my senior friend, I’m warning you. For 14 years, they messed you up, disgraced you, now they are petting you so that you will bring in the vote again. Your fate will be worse than that of Dino Melaye, mark my word. Obasanjo was once a navigator but no longer, yours will be worst.” he said
APC Crisis Worsens As Another Court Approves Gaidom As Acting National Chairman
A federal capital territory high court on Monday granted an interim order allowing Victor Giadom, acting national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to act as the party’s national chairman.
Samira Bature, a judge, gave the order following a motion ex parte filed by Mustapha Salihu, the party’s national vice chairman, north-east.
Salihu had sought an interim order allowing Giadom to act as national chairman and preside over meetings of the party’s national executive committee (NEC) pending the decision of the party’s NEC.
He also sought an order restraining the APC and its officers or anyone from preventing Giadom from functioning as the acting chairman pending the hearing of the motion on notice.
The judge granted all the prayers sought by the applicant and adjourned the matter to March 20.
Meanwhile, an appeal court in Abuja has ordered the APC not to enforce the ruling of an FCT high court which ordered Oshiomhole’s suspension.
In his ruling on Monday, Abubakar Yahaya, chairman of a three-man panel, held that Oshiomhole remains chairman of the ruling party pending the determination of his application.
Oshiomhole had asked the court to set aside the suspension.
Shortly after the court ordered his suspension, Gaidom said he had taken over control of the ruling party.
The NEC meeting of the party initially scheduled for Tuesday was suspended indefinitely after a meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and some governors of the party.
On Sunday, Bisi Akande, chairman of the party’s reconciliation committee, accused members of the APC of relying on the courts rather than the internal mechanism put in place by the party to check disputes.
BREAKING: Abuja Court Orders Suspension Of Adams Oshiomhole As APC Chairman
The FCT high court has given an order restraining Comrade Adams Oshomole from parading himself as the National Chairman of the ruling, All Progressives Congress, APC.
By this ruling, the former Labor Leader and Governor of Edo State seizes to be the chairman, pending the outcome of various legal battles.
In his ruling Hon. Justice Senchi Z. Danlami gave an order of interlocutory injunction restraining Comrade Adams Oshiomhole from parading himself as the National Chairman of the APC, pending the hearing and determination of the substance suite.
Comrade Adams Oshomole has been in the eye of the storm lately, as he was recently suspended by his party at his Ward, Local Government and State levels. It was on this premise the injunction application was grounded. Allegations that triggered his suspension include; alleged Highhandedness, Misappropriation of funds and Disregard for the rule of law.
The ruling All Progressives Congress has in recent days been going through a lot of turmoil. After surviving major judicial upsets in Zamfara and Rivers State during the buildup to the last elections, which totally knocked them of the ballot; the APC has been battling with internal Unity, especially in its NWC.
It was alleged that Comrade Adams, single-handedly appointed a National Secretary for the party without any constitutional backing. This did not go down well with many members of the NWC and has caused a visible crack in the NWC.
Allegations of misappropriation of funds are also strong, as party members are asking for details on how the over N15,000,000,000, Fifteen Billion Naira, raised during the 2019 elections were expended.
These allegations have fueled Pro and Anti Oshiomhole rallies around the country. The last rally in Abuja was reported to have turned out violent as Pro and Anti Oshiomhole supporters collided in front of the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
An action that was out of control until the security agencies came in to restore peace. As events unfold, a lot will get clearer, but as it stands, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole legally seizes to be the National Chairman of the APC.
