Sacked NFF Boss, Amaju Pinnick, Named CAF 1st Vice-President

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, on Thursday appointed Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, President Amaju Pinnick as the new Vice President of the body to replace Ghanaian Football Federation President Kwesi Nyantaki who stepped down after corruption allegations last month.

This comes despite controversy surrounding a ruling by Federal High Court sitting in Jos, the Plateau State capital, ordering the takeover of the football body by Ambassador Giwa who had earlier been banned from all football related matters by both FIFA and CAF.
