Herdsmen Wipe Out Entire Family In Taraba

Four members of a family have been killed by men suspected to be herdsmen in Mbiya village, Takum area of Taraba state.

According to the state government, gunmen stormed the village in the early hours of Wednesday. Those killed were the family head, Sunday Sabo, his wife and two children.

“The family was asleep at the time the attackers stormed the community. Sources said they were more than 20, all of them armed with guns and cutlasses. The herds later headed for Bassa village where they also set houses ablaze,” he said in a statement.
